To measure the thickness of the non-magnetic coating (such as aluminium, chrome, copper, enamel, rubber and paint, etc.) on the magnetic metal basal body (such as steel, alloy, etc.) without destruction.

To measure the thickness of the non-conductive coating (such as enamel, rubber, paint, plastic and aluminium oxide film, etc.) on the non-magnetic metal basal body (such as aluminium, copper, zinc and tin, etc.) without destruction.

Specifications

. Adopting magnetic and eddy current thickness measuring methods, i.e., it not only can measure the thickness of the non-magnetic coating on the magnetic metal basal body, but also measure the thickness of the non-conductive coating on the non-magnetic metal basal body.

. 6 probes are available (F400, F1, F1/90°, F10, CN02 & N1)

. 3 measuring modes: Direct mode, group mode (APPL1-APPL5) and continue mode

. 5 statistics: mean value (MEAN), maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN) value, number of measurements (NO.) and standard deviation (S. DEV).

. 2 methods are available to calibrate the instrument. The basic calibrating method can be used to correct the system error of the probe.

. Data saving: 495 measuring results can be saved in memory.

. Data deleting: the single measuring data can be deleted, as well as all of the data in storage memory. Thus the new test can be started.

. Printer: print out the measuring result and statistics.

. Communication to PC: The measuring result and statistics can be transferred to PC for further data processing.
